かねての予報通り、列島に寒波が到来しました。
牧場では落葉もそろそろ終わりに近づき、朝晩の気温はしばしば氷点下まで下がっています。
それでも日中は数℃まで上がり、陽が射すとかなり暖かく感じられます。
風もあまり吹かないため、体感温度もそれほど下がりません。
これまで季節の移り変わりは、夜間放牧の終了や紅葉から落葉への変化で感じていましたが、ここで決定的です。
冬の到来です！
昨日（12/2）の夕方、冷たい雨が雪に変わり、夜には一面の雪景色となりました。
満月ちょっと前でほぼ満ちている月に照らされ、雪原はとても美しく輝いていました。
今朝も、朝８時でマイナス６℃、すがすがしい空気とともに素晴らしい景観を見せてくれています。

１．牧場は12月1日より冬季営業に入っています。
食堂は休業、売店も平日は休業で、お楽しみのソフトクリームの販売も、「本日のデザート」もありません。（…残念！ですが）
売店は土日祝にOPENです。
牧場の各種製品は、ここでお買い求めいただけます。
寒い中でご来場くださる方々には、ホットミルク無料サービスがあります。
積雪・凍結の可能性を考慮し、スタッドレスタイヤ装着、または、タイヤチェーンを携行の上、十分なご注意の上、ご来場下さい。
２．下仁田町の「道の駅しもにた」内、牧場直営の『ミルクバー』は年内無休で営業します！！
スタッフは年内無休でフル稼働します。
乳製品、ソフトクリームや軽食の販売をしています。
熟練の職員が作成・焼き上げた手作り陶器セットに注がれるコーヒーもあります。
（カップ等の陶器の販売もしています。味わいのある品々ですが、たくさん製造することが難しく、数量限定の販売です）

As forecasted, a cold wave has arrived across Japan.
At the farm, most of the leaves have fallen, and morning and evening temperatures often drop below freezing.
Still, daytime temperatures rise to a few degrees Celsius, and when the sun shines, it feels pleasantly warm.
With very little wind, the perceived temperature remains quite comfortable.
Until now, we have felt the changing seasons through the end of night grazing and the transition from autumn foliage to bare trees. But now, winter has truly arrived!
Yesterday evening (December 2nd), the cold rain turned into snow, and by nightfall, the entire landscape was covered in white.
With the moon nearly full, the snowfield was beautifully illuminated.
This morning, the crisp air continues to showcase a stunning winter view.

- Winter Season at the Farm
The farm entered its winter season on December 1st.
The dining hall is closed, and the shop is closed on weekdays. Unfortunately, soft serve ice cream and “today’s dessert” are not available.
The shop is open only on weekends and holidays.
For visitors braving the cold, complimentary hot milk is provided.
Various farm products are also available for purchase at the shop.
When visiting, please take into account possible snow and ice, and come equipped with studded tires or tire chains. Please exercise caution for a safe visit.
2.The Milk Bar will remain open every day in this year!!
Located inside the Shimonita “Michi-no-Eki” roadside station, the farm-operated “Milk Bar” is open daily with the end of the year.
Our staff will be working at full capacity to serve you.
We offer dairy products, soft cream and drinks, and light meals.
Coffee is also available in handcrafted ceramic cups made by our skilled staff.
(Ceramic cups and sets are also available for purchase. Each piece is carefully handmade, so quantities are limited.)
