まずは、当日ご来場いただきました皆さまに、心より厚く御礼申し上げます。
当日はおかげさまで天候にも恵まれ、素晴らしい快晴のもと、花祭りを開催することができました。
手元の集計では、1,300名近い皆さまにお越しいただきました。
（来場者の皆さまへの無料配布「神津牧場ジャージー牛乳」のカップ数からの集計です！）
今年、神津牧場は創設者がこの地に牧場を開設してから139年を迎えました。
この花祭りがいつ始まったのか、正確な記録は残っておりませんが、各種資料をひもとくと、少なくとも100年以上前から続けられてきたことがうかがえます。
この長い歴史は、ここに暮らし牧場を支えてきた人々、地域の皆さま、そして近年では、より遠方から足を運んでくださる多くの皆さまの、花祭りへの温かい思いに支えられてきたものと感じております。
最後になりますが、本花祭りの開催にあたりご共催・ご協力を賜りました、下仁田町観光協会、下仁田町、同 商工会女性部・青年部、同 蒟蒻消費拡大推進協議会、ジオパーク下仁田協議会、いちえの会、関東天文協会神津牧場天文台の皆さまに、心より感謝申し上げます。
First of all, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us at this year’s Flower Festival.
Thanks to the beautiful weather, we were fortunate to hold the festival under wonderfully clear skies.
According to our estimates, nearly 1,300 visitors came to enjoy the event.
(This figure is based on the number of complimentary cups of Kozu Dairy Farm Jersey Milk distributed to our guests!)
This year marks the 139th anniversary since our founder established Kozu Dairy Farm here.
While the exact origins of the Flower Festival remain uncertain, historical records suggest that it has been held for well over a century.
We feel that this long tradition has been sustained by the warm support and affection of the people who have lived and worked here, the local community, and, in recent years, the many visitors who travel from farther away to share in the spirit of this special celebration.
Last but not least, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who co-hosted and supported this year’s festival: the Shimonita Town Tourism Association, Shimonita Town, the Women’s and Youth Divisions of the Shimonita Chamber of Commerce, the Shimonita Konjac Promotion Council, the Shimonita Geopark Council, Ichie no Kai, and the Kanto Astronomical Association – Kozu Farm Observatory.
